Tokyo Revengers Manga Gets Parody Series Titled Toudai Revengers, The official Twitter account for Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket, app, and website revealed that Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers manga inspired a parody manga titled Toudai Revengers. The parody manga, also titled Tokyo University Revengers, will launch in Magazine Pocket on November 3, 2021.
Shinpei Funatsu is the mangaka who drew the manga. According to the description, this parody will be a time-travel comedy set at the University of Tokyo or Toudai.
Ken Wakui launched the Tokyo Revengers manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in March 2017. Kodansha published the 24th volume of the Tokyo Revengers manga compilation book on September 17, 2021. The manga has over 40 million copies in circulation. Kodansha Comics is publishing the Tokyo Revengers manga digitally in English.
An anime adaptation of the television series Tokyo Revengers debuted on the MBS channel on April 10, 2021. Warner Bros. Japan is producing a live-action film of the Tokyo Revengers manga, which will be released on July 9, 2021.
