Citing Collider.com, Netflix plans to add 50 new Japanese content titles to its portfolio, containing 90 content. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kaata Sakamoto, Vice President of Content for Netflix Japan, inquiries about Netflix’s expansion.
“Our next big bet is to expand feature films. Japan is home to the incredible talent that shaped the world’s cinematic history. With such diverse content creators as we work with today, we are excited to play a role in the history of great local talent who finds voices. Them and convey it to viewers everywhere,” said Sakamoto.
