The existence of The Dark Pictures Switchback has been leaked.
The list first appeared via Reddit in August 2021. Some people at the time thought it was the fifth installment in The Dark Pictures Anthology franchise, but it doesn’t look like that’s the case.
A few days ago, we reported that Supermassive Games had announced the fourth installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology franchise called The Devil in Me. They have labeled the game as the “Season One Finale” of the franchise, so a fifth sequel will probably not appear.
Second Season?
There is a high possibility that this Switchback is the second season of the franchise. This happened because Supermassive Games gave the Dark Pictures Anthology code to reach “Season One Finale.”
For those of you who don’t know, Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games agree that Supermassive Games will release eight games for them. The eight games will be released every year because the production and funds required are not very large.
For now, we can only wait for the official announcement from Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games.
