The VTuber trend continues to grow, making the MSI brand announce its own VTuber character named Mei Mihoshi. Isn’t it beautiful?
A virtual YouTuber or commonly referred to as VTuber, is a content creator who uses an anime-style avatar while doing a live stream. Besides playing games, a VTuber usually fills their content by drawing, chatting, and covering songs. As if you don’t want to miss the moment, the gaming laptop brand, Micro-Star International or MSI, has introduced his VTuber, named Mei Mihoshi.
The appearance of this VTuber figure is known from the official MSI Japan page, which announced their VTuber account. Even the VTuber account from MSI also has its own social media account, such as Twitter and the YouTube channel for Mei Mihoshi.
Through this page, MSI Japan also explained the profile details of VTuber Mei Mihoshi. The MSI VTuber character was made by a 2D character designer and Studio Posse for the 3D modeling. He is told as a student from Micro-Star Gakuen who is part of the notebook PC class.
It was also explained that Mei Mihoshi’s birthday is on August 4 and her height is 115 cm. In addition, he is also a member of MSI’s esports committee by having an armband with the MSI logo on his arm.
The plan is that MSI’s VTuber character will debut by sharing a video via YouTube on December 4, 2021. It has not been explained what VTuber Mei Mihoshi will bring the content. Of course, it is fascinating what MSI’s VTuber will do besides being a promotional material for their products.
