The official website for the Attack on Titan The Final Season anime announced on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, that the Part 2 Season Finale will premiere, continuing the story in episode 76. Entitled “Danzai” or “Punishment,” the anime’s premiere episode is The Attack on Titan The Final Season. The Season Part 2 finale will air on the NHK General channel on January 9, 2022, at 24:05. The website also features a promotional video for the anime.
Anime Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 will feature the previous production staff returning to work on this series. The staff includes director Yuichiro Hayashi at studio MAPPA, scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko, character designer Tomohiro Kishi, and music composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto. The anime Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 also features cast members who return to the series.
Episode 75 ended in March 2021, announcing that episode 76 would air in “the coming winter” on Japan’s NHK General channel. Funimation revealed the release of this next episode in “Winter 2022.”
Before the anime Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 with its newest episode airs, NHK will air six special compilations covering 75 episodes of the previous Attack on Titan anime series starting October 24, 2021.
The broadcast will also feature original anime episodes titled “Wall Sina, Goodbye,” which focuses on Annie, “Lost in The Cruel World,” which focuses on Mikasa, and Attack on Titan: No Regrets, which focuses on Levi.
Previously, The Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 1 anime premiered on NHK in December 2020. Funimation and Crunchyroll are streaming the anime with English subtitles. Toonami Adult Swim began streaming the anime on January 9, 2021, and Funimation began streaming the anime with an English dub on January 10, 2021.
